How can I pay for my order?

You will be prompted for payment information before submitting your order through our online checkout. There are a number of different payment methods available, including credit cards and Paypal.

Does SportStop.com accept Purchase Orders (PO)?

We do not accept Purchase Orders (PO). We require payment when an order is placed. There are a number of different payment methods available, including credit cards and Paypal. If you need to mail a school or organization check (no personal checks) for payment, please contact us to set up an invoice for your request. Once the check is received, the order will be placed. Paying by check is a slower process and is subject to inventory issues based on the timing.

Why am I being charged sales tax?

We are required to charge sales tax in states that we do a certain amount of business in. The exact amount if set by each state and varies state to state. The state you are shipping your order to determines the amount of sales tax that we are required to collect.

Can we provide you with our tax exempt certificate?

Yes. Once your Tax Exempt Certificate is received, we can update your account as tax exempt. You will then be able to place orders at any time and you will not be charged tax when shipping to the address in your account in the state that you are tax exempt. The process to set this up takes about one business day. You cannot purchase tax exempt until your account is updated.

When are taxes and duties collected for International customers?

If you are an international customer, taxes and duties will be accessed by your country, at either the time of the delivery or shortly thereafter. They are the responsibility of the recipient to pay as we do not collect them when your order is placed. The shipping charge collected when the order is placed does not represent any of the taxes and duties due.

Can I mail in a check to pay for my order?

When will I be charged for my order?

Orders are charged for when they are placed. If any changes are needed after an order is placed, we'll send an additional invoice for the difference, or provide a refund to the original payment.
